Mid-Morning Update...

Dr. Huddleston is currently finishing up Jace's repair. Next, they'll use an imaging scope that goes down Zip's esophagus to get images from all sides of the heart. The cardiology team will come in to view the results and determine if the repair is successful, or if further measures need to be taken. If they all agree that the AV canal is repaired, they'll begin taking Jace off the heart/lung machine in the coming hour...

The transition off the heart/lung machine is one of the critical stages of this procedure, so thanks for the prayers you're sending up for Jace during the coming hours...
