I'm pretty obsessed with ketchup. Toast, Chee-tos, baked potatoes...I still love to dip warm homemade bread into ketchup, but I've become a bit more disciplined in the past few years. One of our first arguments occurred when we were out on a date at a nice restaurant and Justin hissed/whispered across the table, "For the love of God, PLEASE do not ask them to bring you a bottle of Heinz ketchup." I would jokingly ask for ketchup clearance before entering any other dining establishments from then on out. So, I'm pretty sure he was trying to sweeten the proposal deal by giving me permission to travel with my own bottle and eat the stuff wherever I liked. That and the diamond were pretty hard to refuse. :0)
That is the sweetest thing EVER! Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! Now I want to hear the whole story. Congrats on the anniversary of your engagement :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, I've just fallen for Justin a little bit more. Such a cute thing, did you get to keep it?
ReplyDeleteOh, I relish a good engagement story! I'm so glad Justin was able to mustard up the courage to ask. Congrats!!
ReplyDeletemustard. ha!
DeleteThat is at least 57 different kinds of awesome. How clever and funny. Is there a back story? Is ketchup your favourite condiment?
